It is absolutely amazing that salary cap idiot Barry Hanrahan is still employed.How many ridiculous, untradable contracts do you have to hand out before you’re fired? How does it feel when no one in the league will trade for you’re players unless you pay 50% of their salary? This guy is and has been one of the biggest problems with this team. You could hire literally anyone and they wouldn’t do any worse than this guy.

Its funny that ghost is apparently wanted by teams and noone here thought he was worth a 7th round pick.

Kind of like Deangelo...he's worthless on Philly, but eventually when he leaves teams will still sign him to 1 year deals until he is juiced out. The PP specialist has always been a dime a dozen that gets swapped around the league.

You are aware that Barry doesn't negotiate the contacts or set the budget, right? That's the GM's job. Barry manages cap and CBA compliance.

I keep thinking another forward would be traded. Another less nice possibility is that a player/players unknown are injured. Right now the Flyers have 13 forwards not counting Foerster or any other rookie prospect.
