I am not disagreeing, but I don't think EP is viewed as a superstar league wide. Most lists I see come out have him ranked as a very good player but not a superstar. Same as Aho, I don't view him as a superstar. Very good but not elite.

I'm still of the opinion he's set the stage for a tkachuk like exit. He laid the groundwork by saying he wants to win a couple years ago, and we've shown next to no steps in doing that. Actually regressed since he said that, considering next year doesn't count yet. Plus, he/his agent will be well aware of the cap going up after this year, so his agent can throw out pretty aggressive numbers.

I actually think LA got worse with that trade. I felt the same about the Tkachuk trade for Florida, but Tkachuk is a much better player than Dubois.

This is why I am curious about Winnipeg. They got some good young players, an excellent cap situation and pretty well a clean sheet going forward with still some more trades on the table.

I just drove the wife to our daughters and on the way I seen a vanity license plate UR XQZD.

Being the old pervert that I am ( you know this better than me) my mind thinks "You're X QZ D or you're exquisite" So I figure I have to speed up and take a look.

I pull along side and look in and it is a fifty-year-old man that looks like a turtle without the shell. Then I figured it out. I guess it meant "You're X Q ZD you're excused". Talk about your disappointments of the day.
