I am not a fan of Hughes but some would argue that is a very good contract. Demko I would add to the list.

I mean, not to split hairs, but it's still a contract ... or at least a rather large anchor. From 2025-2027 it's almost 5 mil on the cap. Don't care how much cap increases, that's going to suck. All FAs and RFAs will want more money when cap increases so it's all relative. We'll be working with a smaller pie.

Life is good if you're OEL next year. Collecting a large paycheck (taxed heavy but still large) from BC. Another one lightly taxed from Florida and living on a beach in a great climate playing for a team that just made it to the finals. He did a Tkachuk like swing in life.

He's soft...but a very effective player that's coming in to his own. His defensive numbers improved immensely once he gets the goal production up a bit look out.

Just feeding off the rumor of Chicago and Karlsson. Adding Bedard Hall Karlsson Foligno and Perry would be a very big offseason. It could set them back years or excel them years.
