Seems the knock on him is that he needs to get much stronger and learn how to play defense.

This is the kind of pick I like in the later rounds. Get a guy with an elite skill, in his case his skating, and try to build up the rest.

TSN has the 51st pick as Chicago. I was following their draft tracker. It doesn't show up as our pick. Are we sure the trade went through? TSN is usually on the ball. That's where Ek gets all of his information from..

Well, he met with the Flyers twice, once in Voorhees. He did not meet with Arizona and by some accounts avoided meeting with them. There are no other reports that he traveled to any other city to meet in person with any other team. I would take him at his word.

Yeah they will definitely trade a goalie this summer. Sandstrom has to clear waivers and Peterson makes $5mil per year. Don't think they would carry three goalies into the season.

Trading up for a 2nd to take a goalie, even if he is 5 years away. With Ersson, Fedetov and Petersson as a vet. Does make you wonder if they're going to try and trade Hart.
