Not since the conference final days when they brought up Pomminville Stafford Vanek and Miller? The sabres have had a very poor farm system for over a decade. That's kind of the entire reason they have sucked.

Murray collected a lot of picks but he didn't keep a lot of them. Botteril made less than his 7 picks a year on average. The sabres have consistently drafted poorly, traded away picks, developed poorly, and rushed guys along for as long as they have been bad.

Kinda makes you wonder about krebs and his long term future in buffalo.

Yeah, I don't know what to think. His adv stats look fantastic. I just never saw him actually play so just kinda threw him in tbh. Rousek, I think he's an energy guy and not much more, but I will happily eat crow there.

They've been higher. I'm sure someone will do a post-draft ranking, with Power/Quinn/JJ graduated. Probably be in the 7-10 range. Benson or Kullich probably their top prospect around 25-30.
