#Flames  update: CGY recently made a big pitch, rolled out the red carpet ($) to try to re-sign C Elias Lindholm.

CGY is waiting on a response from Lindholm and haven't been given definitive answer yet. But general league speculation is he's leaning toward not re-signing w/ CGY.

Jason Bukala's final rankings.

He projects 12 first line forwards in this draft. Seems like a lot. Almost 25 top 6 forwards, which is probably far too many, never seen a draft with that many. All on potential though.

Really as long as you don't take the high floor players like Florida and Dallas did in 2015 with Lawson Crouse and Denis Gurianov. Certainly could end up with much more talented players like Barzal, Connor, Chabot, Eriksson Ek.

Comparing drafts wonder if Wood is this years Lawson Crouse and if Danielson is Gurianov.

Agent Dan Milstein says 24 teams including the #Canucks have asked for a meeting with Simashev in Nashville next week at the NHL draft.

Simashev is 1 of the top prospects for defenseman in the draft.
