Hughes and Hronek are their offensive guys, two is normal to exceptional. Colorado has Makar and Devon Toews. Rangers have Fox and Miller. Tampa has Hedman and Sergachev. Canucks need size and strength now back on defence, not more skill.

Myers, Burroughs, Brisebois are the only D under contract after QH & Hronek. Myers is off the books next season. Woo & Rathbone won't be an upgrade. They need to upgrade the defence. The trade route would be preferable than overpaying in July.
