Canuck fans wanting trade action? Have you seen how that has worked out in the past. If the Canucks never trade again, I’d be ok with that. - bloatedmosquito
I meant just in general, I’m a hockey fan. Love to see what teams do to get better. Also, I’m not really sure I’m a Canucks fan anymore, I’m just hangin around to see what happens. The Canucks will never win a Stanley Cup in what remains of my life. The Flyers will though.

Unless the NHL takes away the cap for Canadian teams or adjusts to raise it no one will ever win the Cup again. Canadian taxes are too much for players to be happy paying them more to play is limited by the cap.

A Canadian team will win the Cup eventually, but it will likely be one of Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal just because the East is a little more open usually than the West which tend to have all the heavy/playoff ready teams and harder to get through.
Bergeron and Krejci and both done in Boston are they not?
If so their C depth is Coyle and Zacha....
So a Miller deal to Boston for....
Carlo would be nice, and Miller would probably fit like a glove on that team.

True. Look at the income tax rate in California. Just as high as anywhere in Canada and they don’t get the healthcare benefit. We’ve been through all of this before. The idea we pay more income taxes than Americans is just not true.
The IRS taxes the richest Americans at 37%, whereas the top federal tax rate in Canada is 33%. But, the wealthiest Americans have access to many tax deductions that Canada's Alternative Minimum Tax does not allow.
The mortgage interest deduction is touted as being a huge benefit to home-owning Americans. However, if you make less than $84,200 and do not own a home, you will most likely pay less tax in Canada.
In the U.S., some states levy no income tax whereas all Canadian provinces and territories do so.
Canadians pay taxes for the healthcare services they receive. U.S. citizens pay for healthcare with their own funds or through a healthcare plan that they purchase (although they also pay payroll taxes for Medicare).
I think most athletes like the US weather better and believe it’s more fun.

Saying Montreal looking to trade down and Allvin was talking about moving up. Saying Vancouver has a lot of interest in Michkov and have already interviewed him. Canucks also like Simashev but they really love Danielson and think they have him much higher than a lot of other teams.
I don't know who the WHL scout is but Jett Woo, Kole Lind, Jake Virtanen, Hunter Shinkaruk the Canucks last few WHL first and second round picks.
Also Canucks be looking at Chris Tanev coming back.

Simashev on Danielson I'm okay with. I don't think they move up.
