NHL banning cause based jerseys next season was announced yesterday. I agree with this. The way the media and radicals have been witch hunting players is unreasonable. A player who doesn't speak up, protest the cause, use his league as a platform etc but quietly declines to wear the jersey for personal religious reasons shouldn't be tared and feathered for it. It's not them imposing on people. Not to mention, it's religious persecution. They have the same rights as other "communities".
It's sad that people have to cross the line with supporting LGBQ(and other letters). It backfired in the NHL. I hope they don't apply this to Cancer and stuff like that... then a lot of good gets affected by unreasonable people. People need to chill the (frank) out.
Edit: Just backread and seen it was brought up in the previous 2 posts lol... |

Back reading is quite the adventure. Cause Jerseys are banned. In a divided culture universal causes are rare. Players are not wanted so trade them out. Drafting is everything until it’s not. No pick is good enough but trading everyone out to move up in the draft is best.
I wonder if the Flames are run like the above wants. If so, not surprised by all the players wanting out. The rest is not hockey related but it’s all part of the discontent here.
I don’t know if expectations have been any lower for this group. So maybe this is where things actually turn around. |

The Flames are literally the only team i feel comfortable looking out at and laughing at, even though we suck. |

Lol yup. Maybe we can take Mathew Mania RSD in 3rd round just to add to lunacy of our situations. 😂 |

Would you all want DeBrincat for the the 11th straight up. Only caveat is he can't be traded to the eastern conference for two calendar seasons. Re-purpose him however you want, ship him somewhere else for something else or sign him and play him with whoever you have a set up man. Ottawa will take Bovilier off your hands and give the one more year of Matt Murray buyout just to tidy up the books a bit. |

Only if it’s part of a three way that gets the 3OA ‘23 pick for Canucks. But that’s not going to happen lol.
The thing is Canucks are in need of D and a 3LC so Debricant only good if it leads to that return or 3OA to land Carlson. |

Just what theCanucks need, another small, soft winger. Canucks could corner the market on these types of players, consider it a great proposal. |

Smart move by NHL…
- bloatedmosquito[Friedman] From NHL Board of Governors: teams will not wear specialty jerseys in warmups next season. This means no Pride, Black History, First Nations, LunarNewYear, Diwali, or St.Patricks jerseys for warmups.
I think they should still have nights filled with events and such though. |

Here is Grant McCagg's first round from Recrutes. As I have been posting some of his thoughts lately from twitter, as I said I think he has some good ideas, that doesn't stop his own bias though.
McCagg has hot takes like when he said that Mtl was going to take Kotkaniemi and Slavjofsky. Shane Wright won't go top 3. The guy also said 7 years ago that Strome would be better than McDavid and now twitter is bringing it up and he refuses to admit how wrong he is.
Carlsson at 6, that's one might hurt pretty bad in the future. Putting David Edstrom up in the class of Danielson, Yager, Moore, Ritchie I'd say is right. |

It’s all gone all causes Cancer and everything. NHL will not allow players to wear jerseys during warm up.
Sad to say the most controversial cause knocked it all out. Society is so complicated and cumbersome. |
