Bobfathers final ranking, Simashev (19) & Danielson (16)?
https://www.tsn.ca/intrig...t-the-nhl-draft-1.1976262 - VanHockeyGuy
Wallinder and Simashev at very similar spots, out of the two I'd prefer Simashev but either would be a win IMO. I wouldn't trade down, as lots of teams are willing to reach for D. Stay at 11 and pick one of them or Moore is what I'd like to see.

Hanifin for the 11th oa ++++ if he resigns. - K-man25
We will take him next year as a UFA once Myers is off the books. Or you can have Nils and a 2024 3rd rounder. Otherwise, best of luck! I'm sure Conroy will get excellent value on everyone! |

#Canucks prospect Jacob Truscott given the captain nod for the University of Michigan. - VANTEL
I think Truscott is pretty underrated in Van's defence charts. Near the end of the year the province had Hirose at #8. Truscott is more developed than Hirose at the same age. |

I have read that he is progressing nicely. Don't know much about him but has good reviews.

He has been playing a lot of minutes in Michigan on very good teams for a year or two now. Was top pair left side guy with Luke Hughes till he got injured last season.

NHL insider Frank Seravalli reported on The DFO Rundown podcast today that Daniel Briere has already turned down a haul for Scott Laughton:
25th or 29th overall pick, future 2nd round pick
St. Louis GM Doug Armstrong “had Scott Laughton at the Worlds and really liked him.”
Seravalli said there’s other teams the #Flyers have been engaged with.
That's quite a bit for Laughton but he is on a pretty good contract for 3 more years. |

In my mind they don't really have the assets for a good return, unless, they are ok with their first round pick #14 and taking a step back, taking chances on guys like Gruden, Poehling and Pierre-Olivier Joseph? |

Unfortunately, he's not Swedish. |

Ryan Kennedy mentioned it and I have seen two others, can't remember if it was Sekeres.

They have had terrible GMs at drafting.

This article says he's wanting to play in the NHL.
https://www.habsfanatics....-and-the-Canadiens-241230
I did see someone in the comment section of a twitter post that Michkov follows Podkolzin and Kuzmenko.
Rumours is he wasn't talking to teams to possibly get picked a bit further down. Maybe it's Van at 11. |

J.T. Miller – Miller’s name continues to be in the rumor mill. He just signed that seven-year, $56 million deal. As Drance writes the Penguins were one of the teams interested in Miller. He is still a good player but will his $8.5 million signing bonus scare teams away? |

They all wanted Sutter gone and now that he is gone, they all want to leave? - manvanfan
Things went south as soon as Calgary started to follow the Canuck model. |
