Part of the condition of the sale and move from Cranbrook BC was a new facility be built in Winnipeg, that condition was never met. Thus the sale. Also from Dreger.

Both those 5v5 numbers are in the upper echelons of the NHL. Miller just happens to also thrive on the PP.

What are we talking about today, I have as much interest in reading his blogs as he has writing them.

I have no doubt the Canucks will qualify Ethan Bear before the end of June, letting him walk for free would be silly with the way the Canucks have to deal with injuries to defensemen every year.

That said, they definitely need to change their defense to a bigger, heavier group, but that's a separate issue from just letting an asset walk for free. Two different birds...if you will.

It is not a separate issue. You are suggesting to use a contract, eat up cap space because when he returns no team is going to want him at a cap hit over two mil.

You can't suggest get bigger and bring back a guy 5'10".

If you are talking about getting rid of bad signings then you need to let go.

That's a good move. Need to be careful on how the cap is spent though as it's a higher hit in the 2 years following than this year. I get that Myers comes off the books but they'll have some money to spend on D now. They'll also have to draft several.
