It's true though. Better to have a couple of 20 goal scorers for the same salary as one Debrincat that might not even score 30 goals and provide nothing else if he isn't scoring. You could have 3 Kubaliks for the salary Debrincat is going to demand or one Kubalik and one Crouse type that will still add value to the team if he isn't scoring.

I don't want Debrincat in Detroit unless like i said he comes for peanuts in a trade and willing to sign for around 7 mil a year max. I don't think he is worth more than that.

I will agree that Debrincat doesn’t move the needle a lot for me either.

I don’t agree that 2 potential 20 goals scorers are better than 1 potential 40 goal scorer.

But I’m all in on a massive deal for Keller and Crouse.

That 4th line looks to be a killer! There's a bunch of kids in the system right now who could be on that line. I think Kasper's going to be something special.

I think we get a competent vet backup.

I don't think there's a chance in hell of Yzerman trading the 9th overall in the middle of a rebuild. It's not impossible, but I highly doubt it. I doubt he'll move the 17th pick either. He's definitely got a few 2nd and 3rd rounders for bargaining chips though... Those may come in handy for teams against the cap that need to move a player the Wings could use. Wings still need to get some top talent centers and legit backup goalie. This team will go nowhere if they don't get deeper up the middle. Really hoping Kasper helps with that.

Thank goodness Yzerman can be rid of some of the dead weight like Erne and the ultra useless Lindstom for next season. Edvinsson had an excellent year in GR... and I think he's got a good shot of making the team if he's good in training camp and preseason.
