As much as Babcock is an all world sack of poop, he's still a good coach. So I think they'll be improved. I don't and never have like Severson. I think he's terrible. So I don't see him helping them improve, really. But Provorov is a good player, despite playing poorly for Philly lately.

Maybe a bubble team at best. Unless they get a huge goalie upgrade somehow.

Gonna enjoy watching the Gud Proz Blew Jackits miss the playoffs or, if they do sneak into 8th, get blown apart by the Maple Leafs.

I think Severson is an opportunity. I'm not sure if they make the playoffs with Werenski, Provorov, Gudbranson and Severson as their top-4, but the backend is much better than it was and the return of Werenski will be huge.

Up front is where it's at for them because they have a lot of good young prospects who should be taking steps in the next couple of years - Johnson, Marchenko, Sinninger, Foudy, Chinakhov as well as Ceulemans on the back-end. Not to mention they pick 3rd this year - I assume Bedard and Fantilli will be gone, but I'd take Michkov over Smith or Carlsson if I were them.

It feels like they're maybe a year away from returning to the playoffs.

And also to celebrate that my brothers kid to be, is gonna be a little girl.

The second he found out it was a little girl, he told his girlfriend that she's gonna have to be the bad/tough parent. Since he's gonna end up being a softie girl dad. She said she knows and that it's bullpoop.

Doan and Tree in ....Spezza and Dubas out. If nothing else it signals a move to a tougher brand of hockey.
