Petersen is a terrible goalie signed to an awful contract for 2 more years and Walker is an undrafted right shot dman who's knee exploded last year. Though he played 70 games this year and is signed for one more year

With a flat cap, Briere did okay in the Provy deal. Both contracts will be off the books when Provy's contract is up.

Provorov's a middling 2nd pair guy with a $6.75m cap hit. Be glad they were able to get the 22nd overall pick in a good draft as part of moving him.

it is bad deal taking 2 cap dumps and just those picks. His cap hit is very tolerable for the next 2 years.

You look at it anyway you want, but the dumping of Petersen's contract in full is the worth of the 22nd overall pick, 2nd round for dumping Walker. I want more, even for a middling of the pack former 1st rounder.

helped out the kings way to much and should have extracted more. Ivan alone should have just got those picks or similar. Then again danny learned under fletcher.
