Walker can easily be moved. Philly only took on 1 mil more. Other moves will /should be made. They will have plenty of cap space if they want. You need picks most importantly. The cap haven arizona style will also help but most importantly need the picks.

Well, you know what will happen here, hart will go on to become a franchise top 10 goalie for another team and once we do have an actual contender, we won’t be able to find a goalie. But a team like the pens seems to have "tanked" at the right time. Looking on the players they picked up, and saved hockey in Pittsburgh. I fear flyers luck and timing could be off again.

I’m very willing to give Danny a shot and why would I want him to succeed even if he doesn’t adopt the plan I may think is best. The important part is to set a strategy and go with it. Don’t go back and forth. We wasted what, 4 years with chuck. Even if hexy was gone, had we stayed a course of drafting etc rather than ufa trade for vets we’d be in a lot better spot.

It appears DB got a semi-decent RHD prospect, also Walker can be moved or serve as a RHD to replace TDA when he’s traded ( 🤞🏻 ) and he’s a veteran for these younger guys to learn from. Provy move opens up a spot for York in the top 4. Perhaps top 4 are Attard, Walker, York, Sanheim, while Risto and Zemula are the bottom 2?

If this is part of a grand plan, it looks like a Hart move may be more likely but it’s better be a deal that gets the Flyers a massive return and have Ersson and Peterson tend the net.

Dump off TDA and Hayes and get whatever you can get. Remember the Flyers are rebuilding so we don’t want #7 overall next year we want a top 3, and Peterson can help with that!!!! Bring these kids up and give them a chance.

I can't wait for the fans to scream that the Flyers need a goaltender. So Hart gets traded because he is now an old man at 24 and it will waste his time if he plays during this "rebuild". So the plan is to wait for that magical 18 year old superstar goalie in 4-5 years then wait what 3-6 years to develop them while their prospects start getting into their mid-20s?

Still can't figure out the thought process here. How often do people think goalies become superstars at 20-21?

Danny is saying that nothing has changed on hart. That he’s listening to all offers but doesn’t sound like it’s imminent. Maybe it still is. If it was me, I’d be flipping Peterson even if I have to retain. He’s got the bigger cap hit. I just don’t see the value of trading hart then blocking the young guys with a 5 mil guy. If you’re handing the kingdom to ersson sandstrom and whatever is left from frontline fedotov after the war, then just do it.
