By not sniff, I don't mean finish 10-16. I mean finish bottom 8 or so, with playoffs never even a possibility. Really not sniff. That can be dispiriting to a player who is 30ish I would think.

I think Couturier is going to be healthy btw, and I think he would be a huge value for the next 2-3 odd years as a 2C at that retained salary. A team nearing the end of its window might just do it.
