I believe we could subtract Panarin and still make the playoffs. Zib had a great playoffs last year, 24 pts in 20 games.

You might be right, but with that contract I'm not sure I do believe we can subtract Panarin!

The NMC is kinda the kicker. Until Panarin asks, it's a dead end conversation.

I’d say there’s a 90% chance he goes nowhere. But you look at guys on these other teams that aren’t known for playing physical, but come playoff time they up their level of physicality. Panarin is afraid of contact, part of that is he is much smaller than most of these other players.

Man this is why this off-season sucks. Looks like a Downgrade at coach is coming and they have no space to make roster moves to a team that needs some

Right. But Panarin isn't waiving to go to Ottawa. Also Ottawa isn't going to take on 11.6 million of cap space if they are unwilling to pay Debrincat

If you buy into the need for physical play in the post-season, he's an excellent 2-way center in the regular season but not a physical presence anytime. Those numbers might have been an aberration last year in the playoffs.

Bet those guys that passed on the massive wad of money that they were offered are pretty pissed today.

I think they had to do this, PGA I mean. The thing is, LIV had no cut and a big reason why the defectors went (for the guaranteed money) there so I wonder what happens. They need to have a cut during these tournaments

Some players get you into the playoffs...some help you win in the playoffs...Very few do both consistently. Unfortunately, Panarin does well in regular season, but disappears in playoffs. Even if he could be moved...His playoff performances doesn't help

I wonder what LIV will pay or trade for the PGA's TV, streaming, internet, and brand properties.

Yea I am still in shock. Monahan demanded players support the pga tour, not take the money or they were banned for life. Players took the sword for him. And now he caves to the money. I hope the players have a mutiny. Like yea we are cool with this if Monahan resigns and is not part of the future. He has a 4pm
Meeting with golfers today to explain everything. Would love to be a fly on that wall to see the players curse him out lol
