Seeing if the mock draft can be resurrected. Have DM out to several individuals. About a third of the draft is covered. If the others respond, almost first half plus others will be spoken for and can try and back fill the rest.

I'll take a team, who is still available?

Friedman saying that his guess is Laviolette again now. But he doesn't seem to have a very good pulse on the Rangers and has flopped around a bit on his reporting over this coaching saga

If you are this uncertain you have the right person for the job, the likelihood might be that you don’t.

So it seems some are finally getting on board with my thoughts on having Kreider on the 3rd line at even strength.

Regardless of wants and desires, what do you think the likelihood of us actually trading Goodrow are? I think just based on straight pride, Drury cant do it because its just another blunder to tack onto the many that have happened.

Vesey has shown a capacity to play good quality hockey, I could see him being the 3RW. We resign Motte on the cheap and have a 4th of Cuylle, Goodrow, Motte.

Oh keep saying get on board, I’ve been saying it for almost 2 years. I don’t think we lose much 5v5 with him on the 3rd line.

Regarding Goodrow, I’d put him on the 3rd line, maybe the 4th. I don’t dislike him at all and think the team needs more of him, regardless of his contract.

It won't happen, but what would be a fair return for Fox? He's obviously a huge talent, but I just don't see him being a guy who can lead NYR to a Cup. He could bring a huge return.. Just thinking outside the box. Don't shiiiit on me too much for asking

one aspect to possibly trading Panarin, he is due a 10 million signing bonus on July 1st

.....with only a 1 million dollar salary next season

in fact, if a team were to trade for Panarin after July 1st, they would only have to give him 19 million in cash total for 3 seasons of hockey

Sounds like the perfect senario for AZ to take him if he would wave to go there. They’re always trying to reach the cap floor and don’t want to spend money to do it.

Ya the whole, “if he would wave to go there” thing u left out. Highly unlikely, but if he were willing to … man would that be nice.

I think he understood that and was saying the idea of anyone, let alone a star, waiving their NMC to play for the most embarrassing franchise in sports is an absurd thing to even consider

All I know is I got roasted for saying that the team would overall be better off with Kreider on the 3rd line during and after his 50 goal output.

I’ve always agreed with u and said the same.

Kreider Trocheck Goodrow could be a very good 3rd line. Maybe one of the best in the league if not the best.

By the definition of being in the NHL, yes. Should he be? Eh, I'm not sure. But what do I know, I just want the Rangers to be good and they refuse to be that.

It is but my fear with that line is having no leadership and reliability on the 4th line. Whos gonna center Cuylle and Vesey? Thats why I think its better to have Vesey as 3RW, leaving Goodrow to 4C and retaining (only on the cheap) Motte as 4RW. Gives a bit more balance I think.

The other idea I have is to move Trochek to 1RW. Move Goodrow and Vesey to the 3rd line, then sign 2 guys on the cheap for the 4th line. It feels a bit of a waste to not use Trochek as a C but were also not gonna find anyone to play on the 1st line with the cap we have.

Or maybe use Trochek as RW on the 2nd line but have him take the faceoffs instead of Chytil. Bumping Kakko up to the 1st line.
