It’s still insane, If you are one centimeter off with your contact the shot is screwed. And these dudes are swinging with 180mph swing speed lol. And that’s not even factoring in wind and course conditions. Golf is such a crazy hard sport lol

The wind definitely got the best of most of those guys yesterday. They were saying it was hardest is was blowing all week. Anything over 10 mph really messes with your shot.

Rory is toast btw. He looked terrible most of the day

Nope. I got thrown off of miniature golf, I cant imagine how pissed I would get in real golf

I kind of grew up with golf tho. My first job was a driving range. I was able to play a lot of places for free (in the afternoon/evening). It’s definitely expensive and something you to have to start young with. I’m not too bad out there, I hit it straight about 70% of the time lol

He makes no sense. He bombs it like 400 yards middle of the fairway but can’t hit a wedge at all. Don’t know where his skill went lol

I did a volunteer thing years ago when the US Open was at Bethpage Black (LI) and Daly was out there smoking cigarettes, and probably drinking, while he was playing hahaha.

I hate/love it.

It's that one great shot every 34.7 rounds that keeps you going back like a sucker!!
About the hardest sport to excel at, I'd opine.

I heard a few places that he’s lost his love for the game a bit. The LIV thing really bothers him. Age too creeps up like most sports. These younger guys that come up are better and better then they we’re years ago when he was young too. Lot more competition now. Look at tiger, he was so good had no one on his tail back then to really make it difficult for him. I think that’s why these guys have flocked to the LIV tour for the most part, it’s just easier for them to win with less guys playing.

Yeah, it helps being our age (pretty sure we are just a few months apart). Growing up my dad would get us a family membership, with no restrictions, at the closest course for a whopping $450 a year. You can't be even half decent at golf unless you are out there playing regularly.
My brother and I used to get lessons at 7am through the summer, have breakfast in the clubhouse and then golf all day. He has a 2 handicap these days, I'm about a bogey golfer.

Well thats a bummer. However, considering how close to the pocket Drury is, we really dont know if thats 100% for sure.

It just doesn't make any sense that they are waiting this long to only think about Lav.

"Jack, the only qualification we're asking you have is to know what period comes after the first. If you can answer that question we'd love you to be the next coach of the New York Rangers"

It cost me $22 bucks to play with my son, we bring a bag of balls and 3 clubs each, it’s great! Short holes (60-100 yds) but I’m too old for the full length courses nowadays. I’ve had 3 birdies over 3 rds so far. You’d probably like those if they have them up there
