Hiring a progressive GM? Politics has infiltrated hockey. Sick to my stomach. Not one single media member held him to account after he said that. Speaks volume. Hockey is in big trouble. - CGYFlames13
Man with socialized healthcare who will go watch a hockey team using public funds to build a new arena is focused on the politics involved in hockey... |

Hysterical, I knew Ryan would love KD but really. His press conference was sincere and authentic. What was his last Toronto conference ? “ you won’t see me anywhere else”. Guess that’s acceptable. Guess you could tell he wasn’t being honest and sincere. Then all the stories come out how Shanny kept him from all the hypothetical great moves he wanted to make. Everything had to go thru Shanny, then why is he getting credit for the good trades that were made. I thought Dubas clearly got better , he made some solid trades . Some bad moves but they were all his. When he moved away from his talent only analytics and admitted that character and grit were important he put a better team together. Can’t put all the blame on him this year , he made (I thought) good moves this year.
By the way are O’Reilly, Aciarri and Mcabe speed players ?
Find it funny that you guys are already making excuses for him with how bad the prior management was. If he is so good he will succeed. RW will be happy with him because he will hire progressive. Diversity will be hailed. Maybe a female GM. But if he goes back to the progressive talent only analytics hockey team look out below |

Dusting your enemies means completely destroying them. It’s a versatile verb. - ChrisMS
Yes, but that isn't a use of "dust" that is the exact opposite of another use of it. |

Yes, I'm the stupid one yet the president of the Penguins just said he was looking for a progressive GM. In other words, he's looking for Joe Biden/ Bernie Sanders soldiers. The NHLPA just did the same thing by hiring a self-described communist to run their union. - CGYFlames13
I use Progressive car insurance. I didn't know it was run by Bernie Sanders. |

Birds both place and remove dirt in one action.
Dusting: When birds put dirt on their feathers to remove oils from their feathers by shaking the dirt off.
That should clear things up.

Speaking of words that have more than one meaning.
Progressive: 1. happening or developing gradually or in stages; proceeding step by step.
2. denoting an aspect or tense of a verb that expresses an action in progress, e.g. am writing, was writing.
3. often capitalized : of or relating to political Progressives |

It would still be a rat because that's not what defines a rat or a mouse. Rat is typically used to refer to species in the genus Rattus. Mouse is typically used for species in the genus Mus. Now there are exceptions to this, because common names are dumb, but species will have the common name rat or mouse associated with them, not indiviuals.
Duh. - awtr
Yes but have you ever seen a rat in a house before? I think not! Makes you go hmmmm |

Sometimes this board needs an influx of plain, fun dumb. Not the usual brand of stupid dumb that people keep coming around here with. |
