What meaningful blueliners could the Tree shake free and acquire?

Shanahan himself said he was talking to Pittsburgh about Dubas all week.

So far, I think Treliving has done a terrific job for the Leafs.

Cap is suppose to go upthe year after next by at least 5-8m.

On Seattle he was 6th in blueline minutes in the playoffs. ~14 mins per night.

Ya I like that he's big and mean but not sure he's got 20 min per night talent. I'm just judging from Seattle playing him behind guys like Schultz, Borgen, etc...

I think that's reading way too much into public commentary. He also said he's not going to share any plans in the media.

I thought, his most important comments, were that it wasn't about the Core4 ...it's about the team ...he'll do anything to make the team better.

Not wanting to move them ...so what. Nobody "wants" to move assets. You move assets when you need to ..to get better. I came away pretty damn certain that if a move is there to get better and he it includes moving any piece he'd do it.

He'll spend the next two weeks ascertaining what its going to cost to keep 34 and 88 and that'll dramatically impact whether he "wants" to keep them.

Do people in toronto realize people outside of the city dont care about your team? My god, win something.
