I thought Treliving was good today. He appears smart, honest, caring and determined. I was especially impressed with how comfortable he came across.

He was personable, outgoing and likable.

Yes, many on sports radio have mentioned that maybe dubas new of a possible fall back offer which is why he did a 180 and asked for money and control.

What the Leafs have needed forever it seems, and it appears was obvious to everyone except Kyle Dubas, was top notch goaltending and a serious upgrade of the defensive core. Playoffs are a different beast. Big changes will be coming regardless of what was said at the presser

Pretty clear the main agenda is to make the Leafs better and to do so with his vision. Keep the Core guys ...sure if you can but I doubt they can if he's looking to make any big changes elsewhere.

You don't go into it "who do I trade" ...you go into it "who do we need to acquire". If it's a big piece or two then it's likely going to cost an 88 or a 16 ...maybe.

My guess based on how he's built in the past is that he'll go shopping for another core piece on the blue line.
