also at office. busy morning but slow now. got 2 new yuge monitors and a new laptop that'll be ready to go in a few days. for now the new laptop just sits at my desk and taunts me while my old laptop poops all over itself.

you have to wait for the IT guys to "prep" the new laptop before using it?

here we've been getting new laptops as well, but apparently connecting them to our current docking stations is going horribly wrong, which is just wonderful.

Josh Anderson for Jesper Bratt gaining steam!

if we talk about it enough, it'll happen.

Still would like to see a Slaf - Dach - Anderson line have a try.

that does sound like a very interesting combination, although I'm not sure who would be playing with Suzuki and Caufield...

Slaf would need to take a major step. imo he's currently 4th on the depth chart on LW

again, at the risk of repeating myself (lol), he hasn't even played half a season in the NHL... that depth chart of yours could change drastically in a matter of a few games.

there's one system that is a pain in the ass to get going so i am waiting on them to do that part. everything else is ready to go but 90% of my work happens in that system.

this one has a different docking station so now the corner of my desk is 2 docking stations on top of a pile of cords.

so many cords. i'm pretty sure some of them are just hanging under the desk and don't really go anywhere.

If you are not playing Slaf in a top 6 role, send him to Laval.

I wouldn't put him on a 4th line, but depending on who he's playing with and how much ice time he's getting, giving him third-line minutes for a few games wouldn't be detrimental to his development imho.

that's how IT guys make it look like they're working really hard with ultra-complicated systems.

yeah, the huge sample size we have clearly indicates there's no way he could get better. Laval it is.

not sure why they would send him to Laval if they didn't last year. he'll stay imo. you need to be patient Pat, prospects don't all turn out to be top6 players right away. Slaf may need a few years.

they're already talking about "Tree-living" vs "Tree-dying" in the laffs thread
