It’s the white claws and burgers on the grill that are making me feel good.

White Claw Hard Seltzer is an alcoholic seltzer water beverage manufactured by Mark Anthony Group. The beverage was introduced in 2016 and is sold in 12 various flavors.

The beverage is made from a blend of seltzer water, a gluten-free malted alcohol base, and fruit flavor. The alcohol base (termed "beer base" in customs rulings) is composed of 51% sugar, smaller amounts of yeast and nutrients, water, and trace amounts of "malted gluten-free grains". The exact recipe and methods are trade secrets.

Best poop ever.

The alcohol base is only a small % of the overall white claw drink.

All I know is I can drink 20 of them and not be hungover the next day. I’m sure technically they’re not “healthy” but my body seems to handle them much better than drinking beer.

Beers is for your racist uncle who has gout.

Read your first sentence

As I said, I COULD be wrong on the award but it specifies "years" as in plural. I thought the same as you but why would deals be so high for other goalies if that's the case? Why did Georgiev get triple his salary when the team could have gone to the hearing and got awarded less if it was based off his 700k salary?

- Aaron_85

Aaron ..I promise you that the arb award is based on his 1.8M dollar salary. Sammy is lower than the threshold (it moves but I believe it's tied to the NHL average salary ~ 2.1M). Being less than that I think his award cannot be less than 1.8M.

My first sentence (poorly worded I guess) simply meant the arbitrator bases the award on the players resume. They aren't limited in any way ...other than as you point out that it can't be lower than the qualifier. The QO is almost always well below the real negotiations so I didn't really consider that a rule that would impact the arbitrator.

You're initial assertion - that he has to receive 3.5M is incorrect.

the awards, like Georgiev's, are based on their performance and resume. Nobody believed he would be awarded 700k. They have precedents that they negotiate off of. For Sammy, as I said, the speculation is that he's about 3M x 2 or maybe a little less if it's a 1 yr offer.

Sammy + Woll is better than Sammy + Murray was where this all started.

It's just a mentality we lack. I'm watching Faksa, Glendenning and Olafsson drive the net, get in the goalies grille, mix it up after the whistle. Those 3 on the Leafs would look at the ice and skate away ...after taking a face wash from the opposition.

I'm with you broseph. The core has had a long long leash and haven't shown they've changed at all when it comes to the violent side of hockey. Watching Bennett take liberties, hurt our rookie Knies, do nothing when Perry kneed Tavares in the head, watch Matthews get ragdolled, Marner get punched in the face and do nothing...

Willy would.

He’s going to demand 10 mil (more than Tkachuk) and it’s going to be a whole thing.

Just move his coward ass before other teams watch the whole thing unfold.

Not a chance. He'll probably come in around 8.5M.

You hope surrounding them with a few guys that play that way might motivate them to defend themselves and give it back a bit but I'm not sure. Matthews has shown a bit of willingness - maybe give him a real PF and he'll grow a few inches.

Marner and Willie just don't have it in them at all. Willie skates away and watching MM take the repeated face punches was painful. Do the Brent Burns and put your blade in his nutsack.

If I am incorrect, which I said I could be, then the wording in the CBA is poorly worded calling it multiple years, including all bonuses, salaries and etc. It's all pluralized.

It is worded funky but to be fair i think you were quoting Capfriendly. They're a little less formal (no lawyers involved).

No way he's making 10M on his next contract. It's hilarious that you hate him so much, but put him into top tier salary.
