that was almost expected. Most of these free agents never pan out, but it would be nice every so often. Don't blame him. For a lot of guys, the Euro leagues are more attractive than the AHL, even if you're North American.

He did look a lot better as the year went on and was our best defenseman in the playoffs IMO. I would've liked to keep him for depth, but I get it. Whether he could finally translate his game to the big show is still a question.

He's the kind of talent you're trading up for if he hits 9. That jump shouldn't be massive.
