Bouchard isn’t a bad player by any means, his role for the Sabres wouldn’t be as valuable as Peterka’s.

The Sabres need defense they can’t afford to trade a Peterka yet with so much invested in him and his potential never being higher than this offseason

Krebs/Mitts on the table but no chance Adams removes a core piece to his plan this season.

Bouchard does nothing to improve the defense on this team. We have 2 better guys at what he does. Defensive-dmen is where we should be looking.

I would do #13, UPL and a top prospect for Saros. 2 years left at $5m per is a bargain and after 2 years he's still only 28. 50 games from Saros and 32 from Levi sounds pretty good to me.
