Darth Kane enjoys the occasional usage of sarcasm or satire. Often if I think immediately of a comeback I will post it just to one up him. Darth though is a knowledgeable voice on this platform and I respect his view particularly on some western Canadien hockey - jhawk59

The draft combine is taking place this week in Buffalo.
Here's a link to an article about it.

Anyone think that Bedard kid is going to be any good?
No mention of Michkov attending in the article.

He has to dodge those drones in Russia.
Seriously I am concerned some Russian prospects have a budding career interrupted or wiped out due to escalating political fighting and their war. A bit risky drafting the highly touted Russian too early in round one but too great a talent to bypass later in round one |

I’ve heard a couple good things about this Bedard kid.
It’s becoming more and more challenging trying to guess who the Hawks will take at #19, assuming they actually draft at that spot. |

Duh....I get it.... But if you read what I said that it's old and played out. That should indicate to you I am aware of the sarcasm and joke associated with the post. Try reading it again. |

I have been on this site for some time way before I even joined. Darth is knowledgeable and I agree provides some great insight that is what I appreciate from him and several other posters here. Keep it to that! The annoying sarcastic attempt to make a joke is bullpoop and played out. |

Every morning and evening I walk my dog through a park then a subdivision. For the past four years I pass a cul de sac where this kid is out every morning before school, every afternoon after school and seemingly every minute he’s not in school shooting pucks and orange ball hockey balls on his net in the middle of his cul de sac. A few years ago I threw the ball to him and after thanking me said he was having trouble shooting the ball or puck from close to his feet. So I showed him a trick, moving his bottom hand a bit higher on the stick and opening up his body a bit. I stop now and again to watch him and talk to him. I’ve seen him do the Michigan on his fore and backhand. He works on his backhand, wrist shot, snap shot and just recently a slap shot. Sometimes his dad gives him passes for one timers. Yesterday I saw him shooting with only his lower hand on the stick. I asked him what he was doing and he said this is what Connor Bedard did. I watched for a bit as he struggled get the anything on the shot. This morning he’s out there and can shoot one handed pretty decently. He told me he put his hand a bit lower on the stick. When so many kids today have no interest in anything but video games, It’s crazy how some kids can dedicate themselves to something, be it basketball, playing an instrument or in this case hockey. |

The Hawks have seen plenty of videos and in person scouting observations on these prospects. I would think a more important part of this combine to KD and staff would be the one on one interviews with the kids to determine their intangibles and mind sets.
Those interviews may be the deciding factor when choosing among 2 or 3 prospects when it is time for the Hawks to pick. |

With these kind of instructional skills, I see you being announced as the new Head Coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs this week, right after Brendan Shanaplan punts Sheldon Keefe into the sky. And many Cups will then follow after weak ass Auston Mathews absorbs your shooting technique. |

Darth apparently. There are some people on here who don't seem to have the time or capacity for humor. I mean FFS, this is after all, a super serious site about hockey. |

No one did pal. I never said he said anything negative about anyone. All I said was his routine is old and played out. Matter of fact I like reading his contributions on the buzz. So never mind your nonsense. |
