Nice to see people talking about players that I posted back in November, but the usual shot them down, but now can't shut up about them, because some guy named Scott Malloy or something like that, has endorsed them.

Fucken idiots

Havea nice day, will pop back in next week.

- Reubenkincade

This is what your 5th comment like this? You are starting to look like a (frank)en idiot

This is a discussion board and a lot of players are talked about all year long by some and it becomes a little more frequent around draft time.

I've seen a lot of the discussions about prospects and the only person that ever actually shots down any prospect is you. This is probably why their is actual discussion about prospects now is that you aren't involved telling everyone that you have no interest in Makar, Pettersson, that Hughes sucks and they should be drafting Rasmussen, Or the 2nd best player in the draft Zadina.

Conversely, apparently being willfully ignorant about biology, sociology and politics is somehow being apolitical.

Pride night is a capitalist venture wrapped in being socially supportive. Economics and opportunities are not incongruent, so there is both social and economic value in promoting progressive attitudes towards the LGBT+ community. And at a time when violence against marginalized group and hateful populism is shining in Russia, Eastern Europe and the southern United States (and Alberta to hear some tell it), it's a worthwhile stand to take. And (frank) the players who won't take that stand for 'religious reasons'.

- micah555

I tend to agree, but still think there’s a time and a place for you guys

No one is targeting kids except priests and the Trumps and Epsteins of the world. And while you may not have even considered it, queer people are children when they are young and suffer from far greater self harm and suicide rates than straight people. So this idea saving children from knowing about being gay is doing them a favour is, again, ignorance disguised as being apolitical.

Somehow I think you probably deserved that ban.

I remember a lot of people riding Cody Glass too, they don’t mention it these days! I like:

1. Reinbacher
2. Simashev(swing for the fences)
3. Moore(2C)
4. Woods(bit of a Tom Wilson, possibly)
5. Willander(more of a trade down, but one I like)

And teaching them about such things before they've reached puberty and actually can HAVE sexual attraction to a gender (whichever gender it is) helps HOW? And affirming them when they play dress up in different gender clothes somehow means they MUST be transgender and therefore immediately put on puberty blockers and prepped for genital multilation surgery and therefore remove the possibility of them ever being able to have kids is SOOOO much better? I mean, what ever happened to "The Government has no place in the bedroom?", I'm all for consenting adults to do whatever they want behind closed doors as it's none of anyone's business, but parading it around and teaching it to kids who aren't of age to understand that maybe it's not for them and POTENTIALLY (note I'm not saying it DOES, just that it's a possibility) changing the course of their sexuality is not a good thing in my opinion.

You may want to educate yourself a little more on the subject not from fanatics on the internet. Just because a few radicals put out a post and some Karen flips her poop thinking this is how the world works is laughable that people need to jump on that band wagon.

That is somewhat my list. Not difficult to project about 8 who are gone after 10 picks but most of those will be there. Reinbacher being probably the only one not. Won’t bother me if he is gone in a not very strong D class. Only be a mild surprise to me if no D picked before us.

Maybe you might want to actually have kids and learn that kids are impressionable and maybe, just maybe, will latch on to any idea presented by a person of authority (say a teacher or counselor or anyone who they see that aren't their parents) even if it might, just might not be beneficial to their development. I've said this before, I'll say it again, if you don't want a stranger pedo teaching your kids about sex... Why do we think it's so much better if a teacher does it? There have never been any real studies done by neutral parties about how teaching children before puberty beyond basic sex education and hygiene can warp their sexuality into ways they might not have normally been. It's one thing if your teaching a teenager who's already gone through puberty, has an idea of who they might be attracted to and are of the age of consent about such things because they are old enough to understand nuance. And don't tell me it doesn't happen here, I go to school board meetings and have had access to in-camera committee meetings where complaints against teachers teaching kids as young as kindergarteners about sex with no input from parents or any mandate from them to do so. If you all think this is ok, then I don't know what to tell you.

I indentify our top needs in order as…

1) Top pair RHD
2) #3 LHD
3) 2C
4) Power scoring Winger
5) 3C
6) Top 4 D

Of the above…

1 & 2 are not available this draft. Simashev might be the closest.
3 could be our best hope.
4 Barlow comes closest but will be gone. Wood is a project imo. The option to move down or trade the pick if a team sees their guy.
5 the most likely outcome that we pick.
6 with no 2nd pick as of yet slim chance found in rounds 3 & 4 but with 5 picks expect to go D heavy & a C. Size & skating be the want.

Prospects are talked about. The fact that someone needs mention that they posted about them is (frank)en hilarious. I have an entire blog. Can I get a pat on back?
My preference with I think will be available.
1. Yager
2. Simashev (K'andre Miller)
3. Reinbacher (Noah Dobson)
4. ASP (Adam Boqvist)

The 3 defenders remind me of 2018 draft.

Willander might be Sean Durzi of that draft.

Yager, although very inconsistent throw out the season has shown the most upside of centers at that spot over Moore, Danielson.

Right now, no one really sticks out as good value at that spot right now. I'd probably be alright with about 8 different guys. Just not smaller, wingers

I have two kids. One is about to be a teenager.

I mean what would I know my wife works as a psychiatric nurses with child and adolescents as her job.

You may listen to a school board meeting, my wife has a decade of education and work in the field, on the subject.

And so she knows what's best for EVERY child? Since, of course, all children are the exactly the same and therefore all must be treated exactly the same regardless? Even if that's not exactly what's in their best interest? If you want to teach your kids about sexuality and such as a parent, that's one thing and totally your right to do. I just do not feel it is the right of government or experts to do so to other children when they haven't even developed to the point where sexuality and such can be felt especially if it goes against a parents beliefs. There needs to be a happy medium where kids stay kids and aren't exposed by people of authority who aren't parents to things best left until they are older and can understand nuance and decide things for themselves. If that's ignorance, fine, I'll take being ignorant and be happy in it, especially if the alternative is accepting a philosophy that goes against my entire instincts as a parent. You should have the right to teach your children your beliefs and not have them countermanded by other people with authority over your children because it doesn't follow what's in vogue. If your children when they are old enough decide to believe differently than you, that's their choice.

It would be nice for someone to drop out of the top 10. Yager I heard on a podcast that he talked to a scout and the scout called Yager the next Tyler Sequin, once he fills out and gets stronger. I mean I'm taking Sequin at 11 all day everyday

Cristall, Perrault are probably the only players that I'd be pretty meh on at 11. I'd hope though if they wanted to reach for Willander, Bonk, Ritchie whomever that they trade down a bit, even then they look like they will be 200+ game players for sure and might be worth it to just gets some hits on picks.

They are being demonized by pedophiles who want to cut sex ed so that children can't report being abused by the same pedophiles opposing sex ed.

Well, you sound like someone easily influenced by scare mongering. It's a shame your education didn't cover that.
