He was the Hayes of Columbus when Torts was there. - TobyFlenderson
Worse than Hayes. Pretty much PLD part deux. Zero effort.

I disagree. That was a really smart move. Can't predict injuries. - MJL
They got him and a prospect for free from Vegas, so that was a decent gamnble. |

Canes have been getting very good goaltending also. Florida is just a team of destiny this season. - MJL
It is great that Florida has overcome its poor goalie play. Really happy that Flyers dropped Bob. Another good decision from the group that still got to pick our current management. |

Dicey Gamble failed and then they didn’t add at the deadline, that’s on the GM |

It was. And he looked like he was gonna be a perfect fit before he got hurt, too. |

They have a 2022 Phillies feel to them. Just hope they're able to get it done in the end. |

Yeah, I don't think Torts is keen on coaching that guy again. |

It's not "dicey". The injury happened after he was acquired.
The real problem is that Svechnikov went down after the deadline.

Acquiring an old player coming off major injury is certainly dicey |

You just knew the wrist injury he had in Vegas would hurt his Achilles in Carolina. |

Jonesy finishing up his broadcasting career in the Stanley cup playoffs is the equivalent of quitting your job and giving two weeks notice before starting your new job. Like…why are we mad about this? He’s watching the best possible hockey right now, which is a good thing. |

Hexy used to talk about go time….it was a perfect acquisition if he could stay healthy…I mean the loss of Svechnikov was a disaster…the addition of patches could have put them over the top had the been able to avoid the other injuries. |

I'm guessing the Canes would have Waddell relinquish the GM role and give it to Tulsky before they allow him to leave. - Tomahawk
shhh don't speak that extremely logical and likely outcome into existence. |

Here, you can have a gently used Chuck Fletcher instead. |

I'd be pretty disappointed if this is how the draft shakes out. - TobyFlenderson
Can you list their top 10?

Actually it's like starting a new job that's supposed to be a full time role, but you keep doing your old job for a while so that you get paid twice.

Passing on Michkov, Reinbacher and Leonard off the board. To select high floor guy (who might not even stick at center!) with skating issues, Dvorsky. Flyer pick baby.
Also, reading a 2 round mock draft and remembering the Flyers don't pick again until 87th wasn't fun |

It would be cool if the Flyers could make the Caps pay to move up for Michkov, but Washington know Jonesy and Torts would never allow Briere to take him.
