Just read that the Caps might be willing to trade a pick to get rid of Mantha. He has one year left on his deal around 5M.

If Hughes can do another trade like the one he did for Monahan, that would be great.

Not sure why the Caps would want the cap space next season. I think they may have to rebuild

lol the Caps want the cap (space)

I would take a pick to take on Mantha's contract anyday

I can't see the caps doing it.
Hughes need to target teams that still think they are playoffs teams. The Caps already got rid of many players and I think the rebuild has started already. Calgary wanted to make the playoffs at the time when they traded Monahan

pretty sure the caps are aiming to make the playoffs next year, they traded a few players like Orlov to acquire picks but they aren't in rebuild mode just yet.

Orlov is a pretty good top 4 d, so dont know about that

will see I guess. Maybe they will do like the Pens and hang on as long as Ovie is there

i am up about $10 but it fluctuates wildly by day. i put $25 in the account when i switched over to draft kings and now i have like $35.50 in there.

without the 2 ridiculous winning streaks i'd probably have $15 left in there.

yep, Caps managed their assets and traded Orlov even if they were still in the race for a playoffs spot. the return was just too good to pass, they knew they were not resigning him anyway.

They traded a lot of quality depth, he's not the only one they traded.

They need to add if they are aiming at the playoffs, but maybe moving Mantha and others could help them doing those moves.

Tsé en même temps c'est quoi l'autre option? Que Legault nomme son beau-frère, sa cousine et le neveu de Fitzgibbon 50 000$ pour siéger sur un comité indépendant qui va dire la même chose?

It's a weird timing while they are negociating with teachers and nurses and probably lowballing them like every female dominated profession

Je dirais pas ca, plus de dossiers a reviser au federal qu'au provincial et avec une super majorite, la CAQ font bien ce qu'ils veulent.
