wow, I was not aware there was a team actually called the Peterborough Petes.
The jersey and logo aren't the most horrible, as they do have a bit of a retro vibe going on that I like, but what an odd and rather bad name for a sports team...

The Peterborough Petes were named after the Toronto-Peterborough Transport Company. They were originally nicknamed the TPT's, but that was later shortened to the Petes.
They were once the Habs junior team affiliate back int he day.
