Man eichel is on a tear. This guy is hungry for it just like matt Tkachuk. I hope to see these two go head to head in the finals. I'll watch every damn game of that series.
Man, this is what it feels like to watch a good hockey team.
I'm not a fan of either team but I may or may not have a man crush on Matt Tkachuk now.
This guy just takes over when he is on the ice. I think Biz or whit said it on spittin chiclets but when he gets on the ice that line will change the momentum of a game. He reminds me of lindros and how he did the same thing. Not comparing the two but both guys just had something rare about them.
I know that McDavid put up all of those points but if Florida doesn't have Tkachuk they wouldn't be where they're at right now
Is he league MVP or does McDavid get it because of his insane point totals?

Did I read that right? 3 goals and an assist for cutter tonight?

He's been impressive in this tournament. It's not the most talent filled tournament but he's still playing against pros

If he's able to keep this level of scoring in the medal round against the better teams then that would be pretty impressive.

They haven't really played anybody too impressive in the round robin yet, besides Finland. Sweden's up next I think, that should be a worthy challenge.

Keep in mind that NHL award voting, including for the Hart trophy is done before the playoffs start.

UGH! All these people coming out of the woodwork and ripping the Flyers for getting rid of Bob (not on here). This is revisionist history. This is really the first time he has had success come playoff time. He's finally earning some of the 10 mil a year he makes. People crack me up!

Cutter moving his feet and shooting but that’s bad goaltending.

I think we can say he won't keep this pace but it is good even vs lesser comp for him to be one of the best USA players, you hope that confidence helps him vs better comp and he puts up points at a strong clip.

Now hold on fella. I heard that Morgan Frost getting points against bad teams means very little. Are international rules different?

I'm just happy to see that he is excelling, competition level being less than the NHL or not. If he wasn't looking like one of the best players, THAT would actually be a concern. Instead he is doing exactly what a top draft pick should be doing.

He's been extremely good. playing a complete game...no cherry picking, forecheck and backchecking. Shooting from multiple angles and spots on the ice...finding the holes in the zone. he is a big win for us considering our last several drafts
