What is thr expectation for cutter this upcoming season?
What are we hoping to see from him?
So far he has looked really good for team USA

Knies first season was comparable to cutter, he went back. Cooley was dominant start to finish. End of story, two totally different things. Now you’re arguing semantics on a detail mentioned in my post which wasn’t as relevant

Gotta based on what Florida gave up on getting Tkachuk, how we weren’t in on him. I never dreamed that he would sustain this kind of point production but the intangible are all there. Leadership, grit, character guy who will do what it takes to win.

whoever takes that job is in a tough spot.

1. you bring in a guy who has a 3 year window to go for it and trade whatever picks/prospects they have to make one last run

or

2. you allow a guy to come in and tear it down and rebuild. Straddling the Saint Rinnie fence does not and will not work

Really! Knies” 2nd season wasn’t close to Cooley’s. Knies was the key to the team and was more instrumental to the teams success than Cooley. Knies was Big Ten player of the year. Cooley has more information than you or me. It is hard to figure out if it’s not you knowing what he knows.

Given the situation at Arizona, it's the smart move. I would not go near that team until the stadium issue is sorted out. It's quite possible the NHL will have no choice but to move the Coyotes, they can't afford to play in a college arena for too long.
