Man. We could really use some luck and hit a home run on a pick for once. - Hextall271
Agreed! But the Flyers never deserve or get nice things. |

Pens or Leafs really need to hire Chuck Fletcher. How else is Danny gonna fleece somebody this summer? |

The Flyers get all kinds of nice things; lots of money, great facilities, jobs for life, etc. The Flyer’s fans…not so much. |

Pretty odd decision for Cooley to go back to Minnesota, you’d think after a year like that he’d go pro - ClaudeFather
Cooley said he talked to Clayton Keller before he made his decision. Keller told him “no hurry.” Cooley says he’s good playing in AZ or Houston. He wants another crack at a national championship.

With Fletcher leaving there is an open license on the Flyers proprietary trade app. Not worried about Briere finding a trade partner to fleece. |

He just had a 60 point collegiate season at a premier program, you turn pro. He most likely burns the year off his ELC after his college season but if he gets injured that changes things. - ClaudeFather
His ELC will be 3 years unless he waits to age 22 to sign. He’s only 19. Cooley stated that he was returning to UM because he wanted a chance to win the NCAA. He reportedly spoke with Clayton Keller about the Arizona situation before making his decision, so that factored into it. |

Dubas wanted 7 millions! Offer was 4. I bet Briere only makes 2. |

You seemed to be under the impression that he would “burn” off a year of his ELC by staying in college for another season which is not the case. |

Reading comprehension, if he signs after ncaa season and plays he will. But if he gets hurt , they might not be the case. |

Man I think the leafs blog would deserve all the trolling and chirps should that occur. No defending that garbage of a hire. Would be epically hilarious to watch though

No he wanted input from Keller not permission. Why is it an odd decision for him to return and not for Gauthier? Gauthier gets to play with Smith and Leonard. Cooley-Knies-Snuggerud was the best line in college hockey last year. Knies came back for a 2nd season and that worked out well. Snuggy is coming back. Take a shot at playing in the Frozen Four or get demoralized losing every night before 5k fans.

Cooley dominated from start to finish, he’s ready for the next step. Cutter was good, not great. It’s not hard to figure this out. The kid should have went pro. Knies second season wasn’t even close to Cooleys..I’ve stated before I want cutter back at school. It’s a case by case basis |

I would actually LOVE to see the Leafs hire Lindros. I dont know why, but that would make me sweaty and gleeful at the same time.

Nope the league is absolutely run like trash now, especially since the ESPN deal.

Really! Knies” 2nd season wasn’t close to Cooley’s. Knies was the key to the team and was more instrumental to the teams success than Cooley. Knies was Big Ten player of the year. Cooley has more information than you or me. It is hard to figure out if it’s not you knowing what he knows.

Knies first season was comparable to cutter, he went back. Cooley was dominant start to finish. End of story, two totally different things. Now you’re arguing semantics on a detail mentioned in my post which wasn’t as relevant |
