One of the reasons why signing Panarin so early in the rebuild was a mistake. No matter how good he is.
- Brukie

well yeah but Panarin signing was well before they won the lottery ball

I understand that but the Rangers stated they were going to rebuild, you rebuild around youth, so essentially when they signed Panarin then CK20, they knew no matter what, any left wing they drafted would not play more than 3rd line minutes for at least the next 5 years.

Me too. But I want him to be the coach for selfish reasons.

We (I) was wrong about Kravtsov. Thought he'd be good. He wasn't. But I'm not on the inside. Just another name added to lists of terrible Ranger draft picks.

so you are going to continue to pretend you are willing to have intelligent conversations on here, despite wanting Ranger chaos at the same time

terrible draft picks or they would have been great but the Rangers screwed their development?

I'm in the opposite way of thinking. The Rangers turned these two in grinders. That's just what they are now. Because what are the odds than a kid from Finland and Kid from Quebec were both label can't miss and are more miss than hit? They aren't busts, but they don't do anything well. I refuse to blame them and place all the blame on the Rangers.
- tomburton99

I'm not completely discounting that potential scenario. But I still think there is time for them to be much more.

I mean, yes I want the Rangers to be in chaos. It's what they deserve. If they wanted to win, I guess there is list of names that they could hire. I'm not sure though. Again, I'm not inside of the discussion.

There is another conversation here that was broached yesterday. Quennevile or anybody else. I'll take anybody else.

For my own personal satisfaction, yes I want Capuano. Capuano hopefully leads to domino effect of: Capuano fired, Drury fired, entire front office fired, Dolan sells the team. highly doubtful. But I'm wishing upon a star.

I get why you want that but I can't handle that scenario. Another wasted year of Shestyorkin's prime. Another wasted year of development for their prospects. Burning more years of Zib and Kreider as they fall out of prime etc.

Hey, sometimes I wish they would scorch the (frank)ing earth. But we all know that it isn't gonna happen anyway and it will just be another wasted year for our miserable lives. At least we can try to hope it's better.

I really don't know why people think the Rangers won't make the playoffs next year

as long as we have a healthy shesterkin we will, i just don't have hope in the other players to step up their game and actually look like they care. hopefully a new coach can change that since that's really all we can do

That seems way to intense for a kid. But i love it. "Time like hope is an illusion" was really good.
