His vision and plan to build a winner is a failure. He has personally put his team against the cap during his entire tenure and won nothing. His best moves were just making sure they have enough space to dress an entire line up.

That says a lot

i had just asked kick about the status the other day and i don't think its company doing the work but the local government getting involved and they more than likely have deemed the building unsafe. If I had to take a guess.

that is not to say there aren't some shady mother(frank)ing contractors out there cause they are.

- Gramps28

I see, makes sense. and yeah of course there's always some shady businesses taking advantage of such situations, or trying to make the most profit possible, which isn't supposed to be the mindset to have for that kind of work.

(to be honest I didn't think he was doing such a turrible job, just that he took too long to start making the necessary adjustments....)

Spending half your cap on 4 players is not good asset management ... and those players haven't even been close to winning a cup.

nope, that's for sure, but he wasn't very far from having a more well-balanced team either. every team has a bad contract or 2, you just gotta make sure to have enough to spend throughout the roster, and not just in your top 6. the leafs were probably counting on the cap to go up significantly, and obviously it didn't.

are they ahead of schedule?

- Pat1993

behind by a bit because the township are kind of bumholes and held stuff up. it's been almost 7 months and they're just demolishing it now.

but this is the best news i've had so far so i feel okay.

i think the way it went was that the company doing the rebuild realized half the building was unsafe and had to come down and around that time the township decided they were okaying studs and insulation and all that but not tearing anything down to the slab. or something like that. but now they have agreed and the tear down starts next week!
