This is like HB Star Wars and you are grooming TPC to be Darth Vader.

I think that they felt like gallant didn’t adjust and they were just winging it out there. Not to absolve the players of any blame, but GG sure as poop didn’t seem to help

Could be but I just hate them all, including gallant lol

I can always understand losing, Happens all the time. But when 90% of the team looks like they don’t give a shyt in a game 7, hard for me to get passed that.

Going to have to win me back next playoffs cause what happens in the regular season really doesn’t matter much. This team has Igor and too much talent that one of us could coach them to a playoff spot

IDK, to me it looked like GG made adjustments for game 6 and got the team back into the series to tie it up. Why the players looked less interested in a game 7 is a mystery. But it seems more on the players then the coach. That said, after GG has been dumped 3 times by clubs with great regular season records, maybe he just becomes intolerable.

Here we go. My completely and totally bulletproof and absolutely improbable offseason Armchair GM. It's all very serious and will definitely happen and I am a genius:

RFAs:
Zac Jones: $900k x 1 year
K'Andre Miller: $4.5m x 5 years
Alexis Lafreniere: $2.1m x 2 years

UFAs:
Tyler Motte: $1.5m x 1 year
Tomas Nosek (or someone comparable): $1.75m x 1 year
Alex Killorn: $5m x 3 years
Jaro Halak: $1m x 1 year

Trades:
Goodrow to anyone who will have him for a 7th rounder
Panarin with a 3rd team retaining 50% + and picks it takes to Toronto for Willy Nylander

FWDs:
Kreider - Mika - Kakko
Laf - Chytil - Nylander
Cuylle - Trocheck - Killorn
Vesey - Nosek - Motte
Brod

DEF:
Lindgren Fox
K'Andre Trouba
Jones Scheider
Harpur

So genius, tell me why the Leafs want Panarin?? They are already top heavy with JT, Marner and Austin?? Now you want them to have another double digit forward???

Wow, thanks for asking Brukie! So, in this totally plausible scenario, there would be a 3rd team retaining 50% of Panarin's contract. It's right there in the post. Hope this helps.

It's hard for me to imagine an asset the NYR have that I wouldn't give up to make that trade happen

I mean to eat 5+ million dollars of "dead" money? Would have to be juicy or a lot. But whatever. I'd be interested to see the chaos.

Sounds like they are going to be relocating for sure. No arena deal will be happening in Tempe.

They can, but what would they want? Probably Othmann, a 1st and other assets.

It's crazy because that market is in the top half of the league in terms of total population. We might not have Auston Matthews without the hockey growing over there

I actually think it kind of sucks. If only the franchise just paid its (frank)ing bills they would still have an arena.
