Both Reinhart and Eichel were blamed for a lot of things that either weren’t their fault or outside of their control.
- Swedish_Jesus

No they were not

Dude

Pathological liar

No one blamed them for anything other than bad attitudes

Now, people say they don’t blame Eichel and Reinhart for forcing their way out

But what if they weren't absolute pieces of crap as human beings?

We would be the team neither Vegas nor Florida is but with both Reinhart and Eichel and absolutely dominating with them

Instead, they both forced their way out and people are like

“Good for them!”

I hope they both choke.

Would think it's time to bring in some NHL experience.

we would've seen a dismissal by now if a change was coming. coaches will meet soon to talk off season strategy/draft with mgmt.

Every single one of you who either:

Doesn’t blame Eichel

Or

Wishes him good luck

This is why Buffalo are historical losers, and why the town has a loser mentality with a chip on it’s shoulder.

An entire city full of beta males and their women who have slept with no less than a half dozen of their friends, and that’s just the ones you know about. And you willingly choose these women, and then they breed with you and then your kids became incel sigma males with no social skills outside of an 1/8 of liquor and a bunch of light beers and we FINALLY have a COSTCO can you believe it????

Eichel was the same player he is in Vegas that he was here, ditto Sam.

Yet once they got into functional situations they flourished.

Amazing what happens when you aren’t being coached by Ralph Kreuger and Risto isn’t your #1 d-man.

Yet it was Eichel and Reinhart’s fault while all of Buffalo gagged on Risto’s hog.

It is what it is

Didn’t have the stones to bet on potential.

Lucky enough for us, this regime didn’t make the same mistakes with Tage and Cozens

Both are on loaded rosters where they don’t have to be Batman. They can be off to the side and be robin.

The Sabres' botching of Eichel's medical situation is the best thing to happen to his career. He's now on the cusp of playing for a Stanley Cup, something he was likely never going to get to do here. And make no mistake, the Sabres botched it. They just haven't faced many consequences for it because you can't sink any lower than the very bottom, which was where they already were.

It could still happen but theyd be cutting it close. Although if its assistant coach it may not matter what meeting they may or may not be at.

Isn’t Jack Eichel one of the front runners to win the Playoff MVP?

Eichel carried a bunch of trash here.

People wanted him to be better than McDavid and when that didn’t happen they got pouty.

I call bullshìt. He used it as a crutch to get out of dodge. He was never going to play here again no matter what procedure he got. I'm glad, he's a good player but a straight up bítch at the same time.

I agree to an extent.

Can make a case that Reinhart has been Florida’s second most impactful forward behind Tkachuk this playoffs (perhaps third behind Barkov but it’s close).

Eichel is +500 for the Conn Smythe right now.

it’s a team sport, you don’t get this far without a deep team amongst other things.

The play of Eichel and Reinhart though are huge reasons why both teams are where they are today

This part may be true, but the fact of the matter is, the Sabres made it really easy for him to pull that off, which is what incompetent organizations do.

I firmly believe if the team had said get the disc replacement he would've pouted, bĂtched, hung his head and said he wanted the fusion. Don't give him.too much credit

I'm not giving him much credit at all. The Sabres gave him a layup, and he took it.

Just like Jeff Skinners bad attitude during the Krueger era?

Ristolainen also requested a trade out of this place. Does he also have a bad attitude?

ROR also had a bad attitude.

Evander Kane as well.

Maybe when everyone has bad attitudes it’s more of an organizational culture thing?

Kevin weeks and several other insiders and hockey people basically said the Sabres were a laughingstock and nobody in the league respected the organization or management group

It was a toxic environment and I don’t blame anyone for wanting to get out of that

In other news:

Peterka has been great at the Worlds. Excited to see what he can do in year 2.

I was expecting a bit more from Quinn but that entire Canada team has been underwhelming. We’ll see what comes in the next round.

Krebs scored today, been hard fought to find minutes but capitalized on the opportunity today.

Kulich and Rosen are doing their thing on the farm.

Savoie torched the WHL the last few months, deserved a few points in the Seattle series but didn’t get the bounces.

It seems unfair we are adding another blue chipper at 13 this year.

What a time to be alive
