Well last one to be saying that to, been saying for awhile now Buffalo will have enough talent to roll 4 lines. Doesn't mean they still can't trade a few, they do have a lot.

I completely get that. But JJ has a very high ceiling.

I would rate Quinn and JJ as equals as top 6 forward potential to very good players.

Both have different games. I see jj as being more dynamic. Quinnโ€™s ceiling is like Reinhart with a better shot

Trying to think of a trade similar to hellebuyck. Ryan Miller is reasonably close. He was 33 and a rental to the Blues. Him and Ott got Halak, Chris Stewart, Will Carrier, 1st, 3rd.

Nothing premium there. So as a rental, does he get UPL, 2nd, Rousek? Peterka and UPL?

Cory Schneider was 27. He got the 9th overall.

Think hellebuyck gets something in between.

joker, peterka and a third

I would not trade for a rental though

Panthers up near the cap for next season

if Ekblad is on the market, what is worth 2 years of him in a trade?

I'd rate JJ's ceiling as well below their recent picks, including Quinn. Don't take that as hate. It's 4 high 1sts + Kulich. Someone has to be on the bottom. His floor is higher than a couple, no question there.

Would you trade Kulich and Levi for Reinhart?

Maybe, but the leap Peterka made last season in Rochester with his playmaking was stunning.

I'm not letting a rookie NHL season, especially one where he really looked good the last part of the season, deter what kind of player I think he can be.

I am sorry but the human who suggests Quinn for Hellebyuck - and I am deeply closeted for Helle trust me - should be committed no questions like yesterday

Hurricanes really missing Svechnikov and Pacioretty right now.

Love to see it though, sweet sweet karma
