I think guys will regress, but there will be development by some.

I think it evens itself out which means some sizable moves need to be made to take the next step

- sbroads24

Most of this stems from UPL. The idea that he's young, will improve, and pair well with Levi is way too big of a risk for me. His second half inspired no confidence and the idea of him mentoring Levi is crazy to me.

Did you expect Girgs to regress at the time? No, maybe become captain.
Not disappointed that he did?
Yes, disappointed
Longevity makes up for it?

- Lunaion

Not really, just being argumentative

These prospects make girgs close to extinct.

He has some decent defensive abitlity, something a full throttle offensive team could still use IMO.

I do really like all these prospects though.....

Just curious, who concerns you most with regression?

Tage comes to the top of my list

Canada just lost to Norway cause some (frank)ing bro from Fattey Beer League was in goal instead of Levi.

Weird all of their goalies have better stats than levi so far...

Wow, I'm standing on the other side of this discussion.

You brought up a couple good points for sure.

It's way to " Sabrey" to not find an actual good goalie before next October

They write the book, its chapter 1.

The top line in general. All 3 had unlikely repeatable seasons

Anderson was move #1 last offseason. Didn't have a starter and had no confidence in UPL, but that experience and leadership were crucial.

you can say the same for samuelsson on the back end, quinn and peterka on the front end and probably throw krebs in that mix

I'm with you on that.

And like you said, hopefully the 2nd line picks up some slack.

I could see quinn really break thru, especially with pp time.

Cozens could get 40

If the Sabres are not signing girgs/okposo, I could maybe see peterka slid down with krebs and #12 to play a 4th line ( with similar minutes to the 3rd line) .

But he meditates and leveraged a top 5 GM to burn a full NHL season for him to make his debut….

Sophomore slumps along with rookie growing pains mixed in with a few vets finding stability….profit?

Signing Anderson was directly linked to not blocking the net for levi IMO.

What clearer message can be sent , hey kid, old dude holding this spot, join us soon.... he old

If Levi is the focal point of everything, shouldn't an experienced partner for him be priority #1?

Yes, it will only help him grow. Biggest mistake they made with Dahlin was not getting him the proper partner to help him. Hopefully they don't do that with either Levi or Power. Dahlin might have exploded earlier if he had his Tallinder.

I would take that bet.

I think that line scores over 110 goals if they stay healthy. Both Tuch and Tage are just hitting their prime years 25-30

I can see Adams going with UPL and Levi, but I do think it would be a massive mistake and may even set Levi back if he can't handle a full NHL season

Just a feeling but I think he goes out and signs a vet goalie like MAF, Varlamov or Freddy for 2 years

I don’t think Thompson and Tuch will ever be the model of durability.

Wholeheartedly Doubt Buffalo would do that. Could see JJ getting used as a chip before Quinn.
