Wonder which city has an arena ready to go. I thought kc did because they tried pulling the Pens away back before the paint can went up. Albuquerque would be interesting. Not all that far from AZ.

terry hired the wrong bros. that's the only real answer.
- TheSabresTaco

IMO, didn't matter who Terry selected as he changed direction pretty soon after hiring both.

Kinda like drafting and trading for players who excel in a 3 - 4 Defense, then the Coach decides he is running a 4 - 3.
A WTF for sure.

Apparently DN was blindsided by the award.

Fear they will lose the Sabres contract as well.

[quote=homiedclown]your posts suck
you say the same things day after day, month after month, year after year

we all get it
you gobble the girgens man gravy and sam reinhart would not get you an autograph

pathetic

You responded to me looking to troll. Same day in and day out. You're looking for reaction.

I said nothing to you, just corrected the wording in the blog.

Let reinhart go, it's tough, but you can do it.

Maybe some day you'll meet him with that lover's gleam in your eye, suprisingly he wont give you the time 👍

I'd take Sampson for sure.
Proven playoff performer, smart player, goes to the dirty areas, responsible defensively. Shows up when the bright lights are on...what a goal in OT to win.
More importantly, doesn't take selfies with a 45 yo manfan

Lot of things happened this season that make you wonder how things would have gone with JB. His guys (and new team) have thrived while we're waiting for most of what KA acquired.

Who knows.
Apparently it was a pretty toxic locker room and with his hire of Freddie probably would have poopcanned him anyways

Year 1 of Ralph was high vibes. That gets forgotten.

We'd be mostly fine. Probably same spot. It's all conjecture at this point but anyone still claiming the dude was the worst GM ever is just incorrect at this point

Since Darcy left, every GM has affected the next. TM really screwed the pooch. He really F@cked up the bottom 6, Defense and are entire prospect pool. It's affected everything since.

I do agree. The meddling was bad in the beginning, and really up until about Kevo. But the hires as a whole were failures. Bylsma, Housley, Krueger, failures. Nolan, a vastly outdated coach, was set for failure. The disorganization, the bad communication, the bad scouting, the team chemistry, the lack of a plan, the egos... it all came down to Terry Pegula, the men he hired, and those men making poor hires and allowing underachieving staff to remain.

JB left a surplus on D. KA reversed that in a big way.

Botts was not the worst GM ever. But when you look at his entire body of work, it was severely underwhelming.
