But a lot of a goalies production is due to the team in front of them.

Look at the bruins for the last 10-15 years, hurricanes, Vegas, Tampa, panthers and a couple other teams that play with no name goalies and win. (Ullmark was average with the Sabres)

I think it’s good to have that really good team and then a goalie in playoffs. See the Panthers this year.

They had 120 point season last season and this year snuck into playoffs.

there are many good hockey people out there. I think Ventura is more important than Karmanos. I like Karmanos but he's replaceable. Ventura, less so.

it's unequivocally irrelevant. The trade happened a month before free agency and gave them the flexibility to get a guy or not get a guy, or trade a guy in season for picks if they were bad again.

that's fair. it's also reality. If Kevo wanted to swap those bottoms out, he'd have done it, with or without Bishop's cap hit. It's clear that wasn't his objective. That's the point to criticize him on.

btw, Bryson had quality metrics the season prior and Joker was gelling well with Power in a small sample. Bryson declined hard this year.

Girgs regressed and never met expectations. Joker hasn't improved since he got here. Krebs development is way below expectations. Jost is 10th OA who got waived. Tage looked like a bust and took off at 24.
