Exactly, the arent trading the 2nd best player in the world with the best valued contract ever. Its that simple.

I think the only thing that could make them better, is to get rid of Campbell and try to lure Hellebeyuk. Thats the kind of goalie that can steal game for them and could make up for how poor defensively they are.

Same. I feel Laviolette could be fine but don’t see how that’s more than a 2 year thing. New experienced voice to try to get the most out of this current core while big lineup changes are unlikely. Need growth from the kids and to set themselves up for the next 5+ years.
