All the teams left have no superstars.

Tkachuk would be the closest to a superstar but he does all the things the other superstars of the league don’t do. Plays a hard physical agitating game.

DAL has gritty vets like Pavelski and Benn
SEA is a group of gritty players that leave it all out there every game.
VGK is similar to SEA, just a group of gritty players that hustle every shift.

It really annoys me how Seattle and Vegas haven’t had to pay any dues since they entered the league. They were handed very good teams out of the gate with the new expansion format/rules. It’s fkin bs grrr

Barkov is a superstar too. He had like 95 points in under 70 games last season. And eichel is for Vegas.
- bonzo11

I got spat on for wanting eichel, just sayin. He’s been great for Vegas now that’s he’s a healthy player again. He looks to have the “it factor” in the playoffs

That’s one way to say you don’t watch any western conference games.

Well we all know your bias towards high draft picks.

I mean it allowed them to draft Shane Wright. How they've handled his development... Up for debate.

Don’t think Seattle necessarily screwed it up. Just another example of a player getting screwed by the CHL transfer agreement.

I just don't understand what Eichel has done to put himself in the superstar discussion

Did he not play for like a month when he was up with Seattle? Then they sent him on a Conditioning stint, then to the WJC, and then back to the OHL?

They did. Don’t think it’s necessarily a problem. Should have been in the AHL all year if he was allowed. Draisaitl played half a season before being sent back to juniors so I don’t think it’s really a big deal.

He scored 50 goals that one seas..err 40 goals.. I mean 30 goals that one season. Really though he’s a number 2 overall pick that has been close to a point per game most of his career. Injuries and the stink of Buffalo certainly haven’t helped him.

A point per game from a center is a great luxury to have on your team. That does not put him in the superstar realm though. He's elite for sure.

Agreed. I wouldn’t consider him a superstar either though he is having himself an impressive playoff run.

One bad year is not paying dues lol they could legit win the cup, it’s nuts

The problem was, teams lost good players through no fault of their own. They should’ve be able to protect 2-3 more guys imo

Colorado is at fault for poopting the bed and Dallas just needs to take care of business now.
