Did anybody hear the guy, before they went to commercial and before the three pick was announced, that Columbus dropped to three and it was between the Ducks and the Hawks. It was right after San Jose was awarded the fourth pick.

Yep. Some other guys were talking about it in the last blog too. Couldn't figure out what happened but was happy to hear we were picking one or two.

When it got to top 3 , they stated hawks or ducks for top pick that Columbus dropped to 3

Way too early for that. Build around the prospects. Then use free agency to fill holes.

I agree you can't deviate from the rebuild plan but who is gonna skate with Reichel and Bedard next yr??? ..... I do think Bedard will be an NHL centerman but I think he starts at wing. Would love to sign or trade for a legit NHL center to help/teach the kid the NHL game and center Bedard-Reichel.

I also believe they would be smart to add some muscle to keep and eye on things.

Damn, Hawks are loaded with picks for the next 3 drafts, pretty exciting to think about how good this could really get.
