He said the same the year before and did pretty well nothing. I'd say he has made a lot of his changes and he has been trying to do things but hasn't got anything done yet. He even said it all depends on cost.

He won't last long if he keeps saying one thing and doing nothing.

His biggest move to date has been shipping out two top fifty picks for an injured Dman.

It is okay if you think he will take his time, I think he will be very active so in a few months we will find out.

How can you think Lafreniere is a bad contract when he doesn't have one for next year. Rasmuessen is 1.4 mil. If he stinks send him down. You are clearing cap room.

Boeser is overpaid, Myers is overpaid. That is two bad not one.

- VANTEL

You think Laffy is going to take 750k. Kakko got a 2 year deal at 2.1.

Why would Detroit do that trade then?

Just because a player is overpaid doesn't mean you just plug in any cheaper piece of poop. The team is still trying to be competitive, not cheap.

Ottawa paid a 2nd and 4th to get rid of zaitsev. He puts the team in tank mode, not competitive.

This is your own personal thing you've got going on. Nobody else is talking about this except for you.

You have come to conclusion and that's fine but I don't hear it from the words out his mouth and I don't see it in the moves.

For a guy who doesn't watch anymore.

I don't know what that means? Just because I view less than half of what I use to means what? What are your trying to say?

I still read about it, I see highlights, I see the interviews. I have watched less than 30 minutes of the entire playoffs so far and you think I don't know who the final four are? You don't think I know who won the first games of this round?

This is true but in the last couple of years I have nailed exactly some of the biggest trades Canucks have made and you are still at zero.

You do have this arrogance that you think you are smarter and better than everyone, you might want to tone it down in the future.

So you can figure that out but he says he would like to remain competitive while still developing players and adding u25 reclamation projects and he wants to improve the defence and add a 3lc and you think he is saying one thing and do another? 😆

Just because you translate it one way and I see it another. You can ship out a big name and bring in a replacement and remain competitive.

Example trade JTM bring in ROR for less years and save a mil or two add Barbashev and you are fine while Carlsson develops .

Why would I rage quit when I can still see you predict all the useless draft info to us that never happens.

And for the record you rage quitted before I did.

“Friedman on 32TP says the Los Angeles Kings want to clear some cap space and he's hearing Viktor Arvidsson, that is a player that might have some availability out there.”

Just turned 30 years old, 26-33-59 pts this year in LA, one year left at just over 4 million I believe. Not a good fit in Vancouver but still a good player.

There's a million different fantasies one could come up with. Is ROR going to come to a bottom 10 team that got worse? I doubt it. ROR gone before Carlsson has developed?

Most teams with seven mil cap space are bottom 10.

Was rumoured last year that if a GM was to acquire Garland, he would want to pay less than what Arvidsson was traded for.

I’d trade Garland for a 3rd & a 5th and call myself lucky.

What he wants to do & can do isn’t easy. So far he hasn’t been lowballed & accepted a trade just for a trades sake. Hronek wasn’t cheap but I like the move. He needs to grind out of a tough situation with other moves.

Saying can’t force trades.

Jury is still out til we see a healthy Hronek his biggest move to date. It has to succeed.

He has been very active just isn’t easy so patience is best. Agree he has to be active cuz we all know the roster has a lot of work to be done.

I would put the Stillman for a second and D1ckenson a lowball bad trade.

I appreciate that Alvvin is trying he is given a mulligan on some of the bad ones at the start but he can't go on making those types of trades.

You’re consistent & stick to your guns. Nothing too wacky proposed. I’m with you that a few contracts have to go it comes down to the next domino then goes from there.

Any trading of JTM is a major shift in direction. There would be a bigger game plan if it happened. His cap out is more to do with other contracts & the whom that are harder to negotiate. I see it as the lesser option tbh. Patience & move out other contracts 1 at a time I believe is what will happen.

It is going to be a lot of movement by teams that were not satisfied with how the season ended. There will be lots of GMs looking to change things up and make adjustments.

For me the real season starts after the playoffs. I have patience and I think some positives will come out of the offseason.

Yup those 2 trades weren’t cheap.

Allvin has bared down & grinding it out since then. His next big moves will be interesting & open to argue.
