Well, you’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer, which is why you’re on social assistance, so I can understand it all being lost on you.

My point being that I don't understand ineptness and idiocy while you proudly pound your chest saying you understand it completely.

I don’t try and understand it, their thought process, I have no skin in their end-game. That’s the difference. I simply understand what they wanna do, but again, I don’t necessarily agree with it

Look, if the owners are saying we need to be competitive, then so be it, carry on doing what Jim Benning was doing. I just hope they’re better at it than he was. If it were up to me, they wouldn’t be doing that because there’s so many weak areas in the lineup. It would be bigger than the Tsar Bomba in the former Soviet Union.

I think they know it’s a rebuild on the back end, hopefully they can make that start to happen. Unfortunately they have some serious deadweight strapped in, I would think getting rid of Myers and OEL has got to be high on the list. Hronek was the first of a few to come.

Makes zero sense…

https://thehockeywriters....3-draft-lafreniere-trade/

Cap space for any raise isn’t there for yet another winger on an already winger heavy roster. I get the idea he could blossom but this needs other trades of wingers out to even be realistic. His skating is my biggest concern being team speed isn’t good enough. Keeping the 11oa for cost control would be more prudent. NYR also has cap gymnastics to achieve.

Will 11OA help this season? No.

Laf fit's JR's MO age and development wise.

Kiss the first+ goodbye!

Agree on the NO

Yes he fits the MO

The 1st could be in play I wouldn’t believe it isn’t for the right deal. My 1st thought is everything is possible to move out cap will be the 1st priority. In a bad spot in that regard & going to be painful unless we see the same roster & ride it out.

Could definitely see it being traded, but not for a winger. Which means it’ll probably get traded for a winger.

They need to keep VHG's girlfriend happy or she'll start bullying her fellow female employees.

He said he wanted to build a team full based on speed and transition, not really Laf at all

Easy to convert wingers to center. Or even to D.

Agree but it comes down to RT & his staff for the roster to play their way. I see it continuing to be about accountability & not free wheeling blowing the zone hockey. Defensive zone has to be the focus & the forecheck to improve. Pretty much all 3 zones being harder to play against.

If we keep adding wingers there is no choice lol

I would try Beau at 3C given his speed & work ethic. It’s a start that could work if given time. Still would need speed on the wings for the forecheck & havoc. D needs size & grit no matter what that can make the good 1st pass.
