Fast is more productive on a per game basis in both the regular season and playoffs. Again, not Goodrow's fault he found somebody to overpay him. Good for him honestly.

Fast is barely more productive on a per game basis over his career in regular season and is not more productive in the playoffs. FYI

Goodrow has 16 career playoff points. Fast has 26. What am I missing?

The lack of offense is going to catch up to them. I think Florida or a miracle comeback by Toronto will take them out

I think Edmonton is the team to beat

- Slimtj100

Edmonton is definitely the team to beat, and it's not even close.

I dont know, I like the Stars. Theyre a more complete team top to bottom.

Can we hold off there until they win the series. Seattle going back home has a decent chance to extend it to 7 games, then who knows

I looked at the playoff numbers backwards. Happy Friday

Ya I'm not saying Edmonton is definitely going to win, but they have two superstars on historic runs and a good supporting cast. And went like 16-2 coming into the playoffs.

They do have a penchant for choking and reverting back to their defenseless ways, though. Either Vegas or Dallas could knock em out, but I like Dallas as the more likely one now that Broissoit is out and Edm has been gifted motivation from that suspension decision yesterday.

Listening to Henrik talk to/about Fast last night though... his eyes lit right up. The guys loved him.

This is what I wrote about Fast when he was a pending UFA:

Oh they absolutely do. I just don't see Edmonton as a very complete team. Their depth is still pretty suspect, and the Canes have shown they can shut down a one line team without much trouble.

McDavid has fewer goals against Carolina than against any other team in the league. just 3 in 11 games.

I disagree, EDM v TOR is best for the league. No one honestly cares about VGK.

Vegas Vs Canes

I hate the Oilers, its really not fair they got another generational talent in Mcdavid, just as the Pens did with Crosby!!

Id like them to lose!!!

I mean, it'd be fun.

I'd probably go to a game in Vegas.

Maybe if Carolina wins, the additional focus on Brind'Amour results in the Hall voters electing him as well.

I just want the Canes because Canadians hate them. Specifically Don Cherry.

Plus a cup, a decade long playoff drought, and another cup in a shorter time than it takes the leafs to win two rounds would be hilarious.

Lastly, don't sleep on Mike Babcock. I've had a few people bring him up, with two sources saying they've heard the #NYR have been making calls/doing homework on him. There definitely seems to be some curiosity regarding how much he's grown/changed since last coaching in 2019.
