I agree. The outcome (Draisaitl not being injured) shouldn’t affect the punishment. The intent to injure was there and Draisaitl was lucky he didn’t break his wrist.

Nurse also got an integrator with under 2 mins left, which is automatically reviewed by the league as well for a suspension.

It's actually the other way around (semantics). He is automatically suspended the next game and it will need to be reviewed to be overturned. I believe Dreger reported that the suspension is likely to not be overturned and Pietrangelo will get a game or 2.

The league will see their perfect out now. Uphold the weak instigator call on Nurse and suspend them both for the next game. That Pieterangelo slash was vicious though. He deserves at least a game for that.
