No he wasn't the sole reason they lost. That's not fair. But he's a reason. Richards was better in 2014 than he was in 2013. They also blew leads in 3 games during the finals. Assumption is new GM and hockey ops team want their own guy. But like most things, Sullivan couldn't coach his way out of paper bag when it came to special teams in New York. Goes to Pittsburgh, wins 2 cups.
